Penultimate meeting of the European project KIDSIZE

The meeting served to give entry to a new partner in the consortium, the French manufacturer of children's wear SUCRE D' ORGE

On 23 and 24 September took place in Cholet (France ) Meeting of the European project, whose aim is to develop a system for capturing of the form (in 3 dimensions) of children for allocating the right size and fit in predicting children's clothing purchases made ??on –line.

The project KIDSIZE has already developed the skills necessary to fulfill their objectives and the next six months, prior to completion tools, start the validation phase of the same on the part of children's clothing companies participating in the Project.

It also has begun planning the exploitation of the project results with the aim of bringing the technology developed European manufacturers of children's clothing with sales capacity online.

The project is coordinated by Children’s Fanshion Europe (CFE) and with the participation of the business associations of children's products from Spain-ASEPRI-  and France -NOVACHILD- and three technology centers:  OZONGO, ISRI and IBV. SME participants, the Spanish brand BOBOLI and the French brand SUCRE D' ORGE, will be responsible for performing a pilot test to validate the system.

The project KIDSIZE - Development of new extended product-service concepts for children fashion on-line market addressing customer needs has received funding from the 7th Framework Programme for R&D of the European Community under the Capacities Programme and the "Research for SME Associations" led by REA - Research Executive Agency (FP7 / 2007-2013) under Grant Agreement No. 606091
